Dr. (Mrs.) Anne Ogunsola is an Assistant Chief Training and Research Fellow at the National Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), Nigeria, Ondo. She holds a B.Sc. (Ed.) Degree in Science Education from the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Kwara State; M.Ed. in Educational Management and Ph.D in Educational Planning from the University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State. Currently, Dr. Ogunsola serves as the Head of Training Department; Desk Officer, NIEPA/UNICEF, NIEPA/UNESCO and NIEPA/SDGs activities having served as Head of Unit (Special Projects) at the Institute. She was trained and certified by IIEP/UNESCO in the use of EPSSim model for educational projections, making her one of the few specialists in the usage of EPSSim model in Nigeria.
Her area of interest includes allocation and utilization of educational resources (human, materials and finance) while her skill areas include facilitation in participatory mode of training, capacity building of educational planners, managers and administrators. A strong advocate of self development, Dr. Lara Ogunsola enrolled for and completed over six e-learning courses in education such as education indicators, education statistics, economics of education, early childhood care education and modern monitoring and evaluation with certificates from the World Bank, IOCE/UNICEF.
She is both a researcher and writer with over three dozens of empirical articles in academic journals and books of readings at local and international levels. She is the author of an indigenous book on an aspect of educational planning titled Education Indicators for day-to-day use of educational planners, managers and administrators in the era of globalization. She also co-authored the 21st century School Managers, a best-selling book for education managers and administrators.
