PROCUREMENT UNIT

The Roles of the department include the following:

  • Drawing out the yearly procurement plans of the Institute with the PPC;
  • Be the secretary of the Institute Tender Board;
  • Advertising and soliciting for bids in compliance with guidelines issued by the BPP;
  • Receiving and maintaining appropriate documentations for bids received, examine bids received, obtain a certificate of ‘No Objection to Contract Award’ from BPP and make submissions to the Institute Tender Board;
  • Debriefing the bid losers on request;
  • Resolving complaints and disputes, if any;
  • Obtaining and confirming the validity of any performance guarantee;
  • Announcing and publicizing contract awards; and
  • Executing all the contract agreements.
