Kogi State Universal Basic Education has ended a five-day training for its Education Secretaries and Sectional Administrative Heads in the 21 LGAs in Kogi State. The UBEC funded programme is in partnership with National Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), Nigeria, Ondo.

The Executive Chairman, Comrade Abdulahi Ndalayi while closing the workshop on Friday 18th June, 2021 in Lokoja the Kogi State capital, said the programme was designed to underscore the importance of Education Officers and their Administrative Heads in initiating educational best practices in the post COVID era. Represented by Alhaji Abdulrahman Ubine, Permanent Member I on the Board, Comrade Ndalayi expressed in confidence in the fact that the workshop participants would have been beefed up and repositioned more to support their various schools.

He also commended the training partner, NIEPA Nigeria Ondo for its unwavering readiness and support to assist basic education in the state at all times.

The workshop with the theme “Educational Leadership in the New Normal Era” held at B view Hotel and Suite, Lokongoma, Lokoja from Monday 14th to Friday 18th June, 2021.
